Trucking Transportation

Our team understands that all trucking businesses are unique, from one-person owner-operators to fleets with hundreds of drivers. Communication and participation can be challenges due to the divergent nature of the workforce.  Some businesses may have special compliance concerns due to workforce demographics, including both employee and independent owner-operator drivers.  And for most trucking businesses, attraction and retention of good employees are of utmost importance due to driver-shortage concerns. We serve clients in hazardous materials transport, oil and gas distribution, construction, and other trucking-dependent fields.

    Industry Associations

We are actively involved in industry associations to stay abreast of news and to find opportunities give back to the trucking industry.

The Texas Trucking Association (TXTA) is a trade organization dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of its members by advocating sound public policies, providing excellence in education, training and information and promoting a safe, dependable and cost-effective motor transportation system to better serve the people of Texas.  BFG has been involved with TXTA since 2010 with the goal of helping to make a positive impact on the Texas Trucking Industry.  It was through this relationship with TXTA that the Texas Trucking Alliance (TTA) was developed.

TTA’s Mission is to seek to have a significant, positive, identified and long-term impact on operating effectiveness of companies in the Industry through its research findings, communication and education.  In 2011, BFG shareholder, Kim Moore, helped spearhead the creation of TTA in order to provide an ongoing mechanism to identify, foster and promote adoption of the Best Practices in the Texas Trucking Industry.  TTA conducts primary research that is guided by TXTA and the TTA Steering Committee, with secondary input from centers of influence in the Industry and an Industry advisory panel.
